Looking for a walkable location? Be careful to not just rely on Walkscore to determine if it is walkable for you. Not only does Walkscore.com not always have the most current information... even more importantly, it doesn't know what 'walkable' means to you.
Many people associate 'walkability' with close proximity to coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries... but it might also mean being able to walk to work, school, church, medical offices, parks, trails, library, theater, museums. I happen to love being able to walk to the grocery store to pick up fresh food for dinner and to a park with a playground for when the grandkids come to visit... and to our daughter's place.
What is important is different for everyone... identify what you would like to be close to and give locations your own personal 'walk score'. That doesn't mean that Walkscore.com isn't useful... just be careful that you don't set an artificial score that isn't realistic for how you actually live. Things that are important to you may not even register... after all, they don't know where you best friend lives!
